By creating an account or using the SocialSib mobile application ("App," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use SocialSib. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

SocialSib uses phone number verification (OTP) to create and secure your account. You're responsible for keeping your device and account secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Description of Service

SocialSib helps you discover nearby events, connect with people around you, share posts ("Blogs"), and chat directly with other users. Some features rely on your device's location to show relevant events and people nearby — you can control location access through your device settings, though some features may not work correctly without it.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, posts, event details, and messages you submit through the App ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant SocialSib a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content within the App for the purpose of operating the Service.

You're solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy
• Impersonates another person
• Is spam, misleading, or fraudulent

5. Community Conduct

SocialSib is meant to help you meet people and attend events safely. You agree to treat other users respectfully, and not to use the App to harass, stalk, or harm anyone. Please exercise your own judgment and take reasonable precautions when meeting people or attending events discovered through the App.

SocialSib does not conduct background checks on users and is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or in person.

6. Events Created by Users

Events listed in the App are created by users, not by SocialSib. SocialSib does not organize, endorse, or guarantee the safety, accuracy, or occurrence of any event.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (such as Firebase, Google Maps, and push notification providers) to operate core features. Your use of the App may also be subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we reasonably believe your conduct puts other users at risk. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any event or interaction arranged through it will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SocialSib is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any interactions, events, or meetings arranged through it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
